Reed Street, South Shields

Sustainability runs through many of our projects, but for this project it is the main driver. As part of the design team appointed by 4HG and Groundworks we are involved in the supply of 9 3-bedroom houses and 12 2-bedrooom on a very difficult site in South Shields.

The Project has been submitted for planning and involves biomass boilers, photovoltaics, hydrogen power cells. We have been integrally involved in developing the scheme looking at green walls and roofs, timber pile foundations, permeable pavings, rainwater harvesting and various carbon neutral superstructure options.
