Rio Tinto Alcan

We have been working with Rio Tinto Alcan for the past few months developing structural solutions to assist them in their processes.

Our inputs have been required at both the smelter and power station sites. The works have included the structural design of a shelter to the main biomass conveyor, assessments of the floor loadings and suitablity for the rodding area where the main anodes are prepared, design of the grilles utilised in the pot room within the smelter and bracing/mezzanine flooring for high level tanks etc.
