SPECIALIST CONSULTANTS TO THE
CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

SERVICES: Infrastructure design

CONTRACT: Traditional form

DATES: October 2006 ongoing

PROJECT VALUE: £4,000,000

CK21 have been commissioned for the infrastructure design of a new holiday home centre in the picturesque area of East Riding of Yorkshire, adjacent to the village of Routh. The project involves the construction of 52 new cabins with access roads and parking areas around two lakes. This is the first phase of a scheme that could rise to 150 units with a leisure centre.
We have been involved in the development of the site layout so that minimal retaining structures are required, and a gravity drainage system could be utilised for foul and storm water. The foul water system will collate at a pumping station and be taken by rising main to either the Yorkshire Water treatment plant in Leven, or an on site package treatment plant will be utilised with discharge into local water courses.
