The Project

CK21 have been appointed by AkzoNobel to provide Structural Engineering and Principal Designer services for a number of projects at the high tech facility in Ashington, Northumberland. The projects which CK21 have designed include internal alterations to existing structures within the plant as well as the design of several new build structures and enclosures externally. The purpose of the alterations and structures various from modifications to existing processes to installation of new plant and equipment internally. As well as creation of new enclosures and supports to new plant and equipment externally. As Principal Designer it was vital that the client and plant Health and Safety Protocols where adhered to at all times and that the production process was not interrupted.
